It is most advisable that you collect those movie DVDs that have topics inclined on college life. This way, you also get to see college life from your own perspective, albeit through a television screen. When you realise this, you actually know that you are learning. This, in turn, prepares you for your own college life.

What college movie shouldyou watch? Seasoned college students are wont to pick these five college-themed Hollywood movies:

* Old School – produced during the year 2003. This is about three thirty-something-year-old men who started an off-the-campus fraternity camp and indulged in doing “young” stuff. It is basically all about having fun in college without really getting to the point of it, which is real learning or education.

* Good Will Hunting- produced during the year 1997. This is about a psychologist who encouraged and built up a school janitor who he found out to be really gifted when it comes to maths.

* Animal House- produced during the year 1978. This can well be one of the more famous college-themed movies. This movie is basically about juvenile delinquents in school. It is also regarded as one of the best movies in the college comedy genre.

* PCU Pit Party- produced during the year 1994. This movie describes school socio-political groups such as vegetarians, vegans, and feminists in vivid detail. It is basically a satire that hits on the tradition of “propriety” in political or academic institutions.

* With Hnors- also produced during the year 1994. This is about Harvard students who went into an adventure just to get their thesis done. Later on, they found out that there’s more to learn from people who are homeless and jobless than from people inside the university.
